The Grade 1 Survivor is supplied with 6 pin cylinders in Marks “C” keyway with 2 nickel-silver keys. The retractor is cast stainless steel with bronze roller bearings for ultra-high strength, smooth operation & long life. When locked, the Survivor’s clutch disengages the outside lever allowing it to turn freely without opening the latch. This reduces the torque applied to the outside lever. Other locksets with Rigid levers are prone to failure because of excessive torque.

Typical Classroom function locksets are designed to be locked or unlocked from the exterior, with the interior always in an open position. The new LocDown^™ Classroom Intruder Locksets by MARKS USA, are designed to be locked or unlocked from the exterior, always open on the interior, but allows in emergency life safety situations, the teacher to secure the classroom without stepping into the hallway to lock the outside handle.

ANSI Function F110 – For classroom doors. Deadlocking latchbolt. Either lever operates latchbolt (except when outside lever is locked by key from either side). Outside lever remains locked upon egress. Inside lever always active.
