Rixson Model #28 Heavy Duty Center Hung Concealed Floor Closer Body, LAP (Less All Parts)
The 28 is a single-acting, center-hung floor closer designed with a centering arm with adjustable screws for interior or exterior doors weighing up to 350lbs. This allows the closer to be removed without demounting the door for threshold applications.
Features
- LAP = Less all parts (closer body only)
- Single acting, handed
- Exterior or interior doors
- Available non-hold open (N) or selective hold open (S) at same degree as dead stop
- Built-in positive dead stop prevents doors from swinging beyond the desired opening degree; specify 90° or 105°
- Separate and independent valves for closing speed, latch speed, and backcheck
- Not allowed for fire-rated doors
- Sizes up to 4′ 0″ x 8′ 6″
- Door weight up to 350lbs.
